REVOLUTION

By Alex Hash

When the group begins to fuse, like the storming of Bastille, its members experience a brusk resurrection of freedom - Sartre

It cuts red deep when I try
To immure it within nailing walls
Because it grows and grows
With an aching passion.

It is the indifference that bothers me the most. Mine, and everyone else’s who calls himself a victim but refuses to do anything about it. Anything! Any form of protest that will amount to something against the brutal injustice being done to our homeland.
It is the burden of this indifference... and a constant guilt; never ending never stopping, just growing heavier with every passing moment till a lone voice breaks that pattern.

Keep on writing bro... and continue being my voice and everyone else’s who is silent.
